Are men concerned about their complexion? Do men worry about skin fairness?
If asked few decades back the answer would be a big ‘no’ as fairness
creams and cosmetics were the personal properties of female race. But
today alarming statistics reveal that cosmetics and fairness creams are
equally sought after by men too.
You don’t have to go with the products that exaggerate your skin too
much. Your skin needs freshness that you should provide on utmost basis.
Just be simple in terms of skin caring and adopt following tips:-
Avoid shaving in the morning. If possible, let your skin wake up a
while. This allows the “puffiness” you encounter from fluids collecting
in your skin during the night to recede, thus allowing you to get a
closer shave when you do begin the task.
For skin lightening, stay away from hydroquinone, mercury, or
steroid-based skin lighteners because these can harm your skin
especially after long term use. A fair complexion has always been
associated with success and popularity. Men and women alike desire
fairness it is believed to be the key to a successful life.
For a great homemade face softener, try this: mash a banana and apply
it to your face. Leave on for ten minutes and wash off with lukewarm
water. Your face feels like satin. Plus, it puts those over ripe gooey
bananas to good use.
To get fair skin, mix almond, neem leaf, turmeric, sandal wood and
poppy seeds. Blend this mixture into a fine paste using milk. Apply this
paste on face and allow it to dry remove the dried mask by massaging
your face in circular motion and wash your face using luke warm water.
After shaving, apply an oil-free moisturizer to soothe and protect
the face. If you prefer an after-shave, check the label for alcohol.
Dryness and stinging sensations are by-products of most after-shave
products whose primary ingredient is alcohol.
For soothing skin in summer, apply a mixture of equal amounts of
lemon and cucumber juice on the face and whole body. Leave it for 15
minutes and wash off.
